    Is this a 2wd, 4-cylinder truck?

2014 Tacoma SR5 4x4 DC SB V6 AT Tow Pkg Entune+ Mostly stock with a few OEM mods.
Stock (99.999%) OEM Bed Floor Mat, Front Bed Rail Cargo Net and hooks, Auto-Dim mirror w/Compass and outside Temperature display, TRD Pro Grille, Uni-Filter air pump modification, WeatherTech floor liners f/r. OEM All-Weather floor mats (summer).
Traction control, (and Stability control) quietly monitors a bunch of sensors until something bad wakes it up... then it takes over and attempts to save you, and your $50,000 dollar truck from disaster.

It doesn't any use and gas to do any of this.

    Curveball30,

No, 4 cyl, 4x4, Access Cab.

I also own an Audi A3 and am spoiled getting 40+ mpg with that sedan.

I am learning to be grateful that my Tacoma is giving me 22.5 mpg, Hwy driving.

I drive like an old lady my brother is fond of saying. I coast to the next stop sign/street light, brake gently way in advance, I gently push the gas pedal to get up to desired speed, etc.

My brother drives aggressively, hard stops, racing to the next intersection, ranting at "slow poke" drivers that slow him down. LOL.

I am stoked to get almost 26 mpg on a road trip to Austin, TX recently although I benefited from a good tailwind.

I love this truck more and more!

That's a heap of miles and you're still getting great mileage! Very cool.
