I for one also don't care about power seats. However, I just realized in Canada you can buy a "base" level F150 Platinum for the same dough as the new Limited Tacoma. For over $50K I better get freaking heated and cooled power seats when the competition is putting them in the bigger trucks for the same gosh darn price :goingcrazy:

This is true. I hadn't realized how incredibly expensive these Tacomas are and how little you get for your money. For $35k you can get one heck of a freaking loaded F-150. Reconsidering my order.

I'm 5'10", it seems like shorter guys have bigger problems with it. My issue isn't how low to the ground I was, it was how low the back is compared to the front. It created a big pressure point behind my knees and was very uncomfortable on longer drives, which I do a lot. It never bothered me around town, only when I drove 3+ hours. I make a trip like that at least once a week. Whether it bothers you or not, my '04 4Runner had an elevation control, we're into the 2016 model year, there is no excuse for the Tacoma to not offer an elevation, doesn't have to be electric. The whole point to adjustable seats is so that it's compatible for a range of people, not everyone is comfortable sitting in the same position as the next person.

I could not agree with you more. It isn't like Taco owners are asking for the world.....just an elevation adjustment. Btw, I sold my 04 Runner and bought a 15 Taco. This is too my major complaint. It still sits fine as I am lucky with the angle but I miss th adjustability on long trips.

I'm betting future years Tacomas will have seat height adjustment. Even the four runner has it, so wouldn't think it would be a huge deal to add them on the 2017.

Anyone know why the front end has that large area of extra space? Is it a cooling factor? Compared it to my current tacoma; I'm guessing about 6-8 inches more of empty space in 2016.

I heard from unreliable sources who have a habit of pulling everyone's leg, it is reserve space for the Cummins straight six diesel in the next model year. :rofl:You heard it hear first.

It's likely something to do with either crash or pedestrian safety modifications needing more room up front.

My '13 TRD Sport V6 4x4 is my second Tacos and I can't say it is the best truck but it is a reliable DD so that's my decision to just stick with it, at least for now. Toyota has a lot to improve on this truck as far as comforts but it is a reliable truck for the most part so they don't give a crap I guess. Sometimes I want to say Fawk Toyota for some of the shitty stuffs that they throw inside the $35K truck but oh well... It is a love and hate relationship.
