I recommend reading through this website if you're starting from scratch:

    http://www.theplacewithnoname.com/blogs/klessons/index.html

It'll get you thinking about how to figure out what will work best for you instead of just handing you a one-size-fits-all bag of stuff. I found it to be an entertaining read while staying realistic.

    Like, so many.
Of course. I have a goet homebag behind my back seat.
    Water
    Knife
    Emergency blanket
    Food
    Flashlight
    Matches
I don’t live far from my work so I plan to travel fast and light if it comes to that.

This is my bug out bag. Setup. Plus or minus a few things (going off the top of my head) But I typically just keep my deep camping bag ready to go. I'd suggest get everything and go live off of it for a weekend or so. You'll add and subtract as you feel for weight and needs/wants.

I told a friend this who is a border line nut job when it comes to being a prepper.

I keep this in my back seat just in case. It's damn close to being Hollywood quite.

You'd be surprised how well a 22 can work when used right.

10mm pistol works well, whether you use it right or not.

When people are under stress trying to feed they're family, and you show up and pose a threat to that goal. It's a good way to end up bleeding. Just saying. I'm not a prepper, but I do live in earthquake zone. So it makes sense to have supplies just in case. Look at the 89 earthquake.

Like I said - define the threat you're preparing for.

Me? Well, getting stuck in the woods, or a week without power, etc, aren't exactly uncommon occurrences. Lower probability like earthquakes, tornadoes, blizzards, tsunamis, etc might be a good thing to hedge against. TEOTWAWKI? Not so much.

Who said anything about trying to rob them or take any action. All I said is that you need to know where one lives. You all filled in the blank and jumped to conclusions.it’s “their” not “they’re “
