Everytime i take a week or two off I go out and either kick everybody's ass or totally suck lol. I wonder what will happen this time.

Hoping everything will dry up so we can play our normal schedule this next week. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Just found this thread. Wow! I AM one of those people that thought disc golf was just throwing a frisbee around at some targets. Guess I was way wrong.

My new house we are building is right across the street from a disc golf course and I see people playing all the time. I figured I'd try it out some day for fun. Guess I need to actually get a real disc meant for golf?

You should! It's not just one disc though. There are different types for different things. The main 3 types are putters, mid-range and drivers. You can get this to get you started and see if you like it or not.

Thats actually a decent starter pack. Wish I would have gotten that way back instead of the paper plates I had bought lol.

It's the same exact starter pack I got, and I still use 'em! The mid range it came with is still my all time favorite. It's a Champion Panther.

Oh Man. I need 3 discs?! I really just a planned on using disc golf as an excuse to get out of the house for awhile and drink some beer. But I guess maybe I need some actual discs.

You'd enjoy it a lot more if you tried it correctly from the get go!

Man if I had a house across the street from a course and I could see a basket peeking out I'd be known around the neighborhood as the weirdo throwing disc from my front lawn towards the basket. Lol.

You live in KC there are TONS of courses there!

I'm about 2 months away from my house being done. I'll take a few pictures of the course and my awesome skills.

I actually have no clue how many disc golf courses are in KC. But I know the Kansas City Joes BBQ sells a huge assortment of discs. Honestly I probably wouldn't know or even try to play the game except for the fact that I'll be right across the street from the course. I'm excited. It looks pretty fun.

I'm in Alabama today to watch my Tigers whoop up on Auburn tonight but made sure I came into town early enough to sling some plastic. Very nice course in Opelika. Finished 5 down. Not too bad for never seen the course before.

Picture I took a while back of my boss on hole 18 at Circle C

    2016-03-01 20.39.20.jpg

It's about 600ft on a left handed turn to get to the mouth of this chute. Still have to cross the creek also.

    I think it's a par 5.

Me and my crew play every hole on every course as a part 3. Not very orthodox, but it makes keeping our scores easier.

The course I played sat hole 4 was 750' and it was a part 4. I could see a 600' hole being a 3. I can drive my Tern about 500' or so. It'd be a hell of a upshot to bird if it's a part 3 but it's achievable.

I do the same thing. Most places we play are all par 3 anyways.
