Yeah they are! I just couldn't help but pick up a few for shits and giggles. They're a lot of fun throwing into a tailwind because they'll fly for freaking ever.

These are my recommended discs for beginners as well as what's in my bag if anyone is wanting to get into Discing.

    Putter: Aviar — (2, 3, 0, 1)
    or, Aero — (3, 6, 0, 0)
    Midrange: Roc+ — (4, 5, 0, 2)
    or, Mako — (4, 5, 0, 0)
    or, Shark — (4, 4, 0, 2)
    Fairway Driver: Leopard — (6, 5, -2, 1) or, TeeBird — (7, 5, 0, 2)
    Distance Driver: Valkyrie — (9, 4, -2, 2)
    or, Roadrunner — (9, 5, -4, 1)
    or, Wraith — (11, 5, -1, 3)

#s = (speed, glide, turn, fade)

    High Speed Distance Driver: Tern — (12, 6, -2, 2)
    or, Katana — (13, 5, -3, 3)

I wouldn't build a bag way up at first. If you're new a fairway driver and putter are plenty at first.

    In my bag:
    Champion Aviar — (2, 3, 0, 1)
    DX Aero — (3, 6, 0, 0)
    Champion Roc+ — (4, 5, 0, 2)
    DX Leopard — (6, 5, -2, 1)
    Champion TeeBird — (7, 5, 0, 2)
    Champion Valkyrie — (9, 4, -2, 2)
    Champion Tern — (12, 6, -2, 2)

Everyone at work knows how much I love disc golf and ultimate frisbee that they all signed a frisbee instead of a going away card. So dope!

I played in a tournament this past summer and on the 18th hole of the 2nd round a guy on my card forehanded a blizzard destroyer weaved it through the trees (this hole was the pro CTP hole. 330 foot slight up hill) and Aced it! It was freaking amazing! Then no one cared I put it 7 ft from the basket right after that haha

I'm starting to appreciate learning the different discs more but don't want more than a couple of each; distance, fairway, mid and a single putter. I'm still deciding which putter I really like. I like the roc3 honestly but have tried birdies polecats aviar kc aviar, dart and an ion. I've used champion plastic for a while but have come to enjoy the g star most

I've got two go to putters. The innova colt for basic straight putts, and a discraft challenger for farther ones. A little more speed and glide on it.

Like the GStar plastic. Teebird3 I'm kind of on the fence with. It rips out of the hand, runs laser straight and then just seems to "dump". Strange to watch for me.

That describes it pretty well. We played this morning and that is what I experienced, it was also what I hoped for. A bit more distance than a roc3... straight, then falls, not much break. I think the original tee bird would finish with some bend if you wanted it.

I'm kinda wondering about using one as a headwind driver. But yeah, it rips out faster than a Teebird, laser straight, as soon as it slows it just drops like a brick. Kind of reminds me of a long Atlas (Innovas overmold midrange). I really dig the speed and straightness but it just dumbfounds me to see like 0 glide. Did yours skip?

Dry dock brewing put in a short course. It's 9 baskets and 11 different tee pads. Planned poorly and didn't go on a day they were open. Course is open anytime, but was hoping for a beer post golf

Whistlers Bend in Glide, Oregon. Lost a brand new crush that I had hoped to break in but still love this course.

All this rain in CA, and our courses are turning green! This was a new addition to our course since the drought took the trees that where on this hole.
