Is there any way to disconnect my daytime running lights without losing the turn signals? I installed halo headlights on my truck and they don't have an inner lens over the running light so when it is on the amber color is so bright that it drown out the halos and leds. I want them to stay amber but I don't want them running constantly. Any ideas?

Not sure? It only has two wires, a positive and negative. somehow they run both the turn signal and the running lights. I do know that when I first start the truck in the morning the running lights don't come on until I release the parking brake. I wonder if I could bypass that switch or do you think that the running lights will still come on, like say when I reach a certain speed or put it in reverse????

Do a search and you will find out how to disable them. I disabled mine a long time ago to prevent melting the headlight lenses.

I disabled mine a few months ago. On the back side of the fuse bock is 2 connectors. One has a green/red striped wire. Cut or remove this wire and you will lose your running lights without losing your signals or anything else.

I snipped mine too. My green wire had a different color stripe. Maybe yellow (09)
