Discontinued Clock Spring - will other models fit? 96 Tacoma

Hiya Guys,

I'm on the search for a 96 clock spring with cruise control i've been searching high and low for this item with no luck,

i was hoping you wise and experienced Tacoma legends might know of a clock spring that would work from a different year or model Toyota, i've tried going down the OEM route but unfortunately they have discontinued that item and ive had no luck finding any alternative.

i did read that maybe a 93 corolla clock spring might work

i really appreciate any help you can provide

Hard to remember just what might work unless some one is in the middle of the same job.

I have had good luck advancing in years with Toyota Parts .Till I found the part still in stock.

Toyota likes to use different part numbers for different vehicles for the same part.

Just what is wrong with yours it needs replaced ?? Have you tried cleaning?
