Discount Tire $100 off $400 on Ebay thru 9/15/2015

Same here. I called local store and they said they can't match. Printed out the ads and brought it into another store and the manager said the same.

 

This too ^ I called and they couldn't match it.

 

I bought my last set off the DTD eBay store and took them into my local DT to have mounted and balanced. Employee I dealt with said they would have matched the eBay store price, even with the $100 off.

Guess it just depends on the store and/or manager...

 

That's very odd and I'm sorry to hear that. Either way thank you for your choice in my company.

 

I need 35's.... And I only want to pay $40 per tire.

Keep in mind, when you order 4 tires through the ebay store of discount, they add around 25 bucks a tire to the price. Just research it. I looked up tires for months. Had all the prices saved. This deal came up, and it would have been the exact same amount for me, $25 more in fact because of the 5th tire I was buying. So, I split the deal into 2 sales.

 

I printed the ebay ad out and brought it into my local Discount Tire yesterday, and they matched the price. They didn't have our size, but had them shipped in from another store and are being installed right now. I'm very pleased. These were for the wife's car, but still couldn't pass up a deal like this.

local discount actually beat the ebay price today. Mk6 & cooper at3 265/75 load C out the door for $1021. $70 cooper rebate also. I feel like $950 total for wheels and tires installed isnt bad.

Well scratch that... I filled out a request for a price match from Discount Tire (4wd parts has 285/75r16 BFG KO2s for 168 a tire w/free shipping to the store). My local store called me back and said they could not match it for some excuse of a reason.

I then asked if they would honor the DTD eBay deal going on, they said no because that is a deal with eBay.

After tax and having to drive and pick up my tires, the DTD eBay deal is better than 4wd Parts price... As long as you buy 2 sets of 2 and get the double $100 off.

 

@YotaBum Keep in mind you have to use 2 accounts to order. Or one account and one guest account. They won't let you buy the tires like that from your same account twice.

 

I used the same account to buy 2 sets of 2 BFG KO2s in 265/75R16 a few months back for $200 off with no issue. Did they change something?

 

Actually worked out great, between my wife's and mine, saved some extra, they didn't charge TPMS or Disposal fees, and charged me her rate for installation on my truck. Pocketed an extra $60 I'm happy!

 

Just ordered 2 purchases of 2 285/75r16s BFG KO2s tires from the eBay DTD. I got $200 off my order, using the coupon twice on the same account. Paid $712 shipped to the house!

 

Huh. It wouldn't let me do it. Maybe because I did an order of 2 and an order of 3. Ah well. But yeah, the only way you save money with this is by buying 2 at a time since they jack the price up $25 a tire.

 

Anybody have any clue when this is rolling back around again?
