I was asking about options for returns/replacements. The response had nothing to do with the question. It just mentioned a warehouse location and how quick a shipment is received. Let me try to ask this another way if you dont understand. When I purchase my tires, I go to a local tire shop. If/when there is an issue with the tires, I go back to that local tire shop and they take care of my issue. What is the process for that scenario if you purchase from ebay? Has anyone (not close to Ohio) had problems with their tires? What are your options?

If you buy from their ebay store all you have to do is call them and you will get a invoice from them with what you purchased off of ebay! Same procedure as buying from their site. I've bought many sets of tire's from them on their ebay store and never had a single problem with 1 tire yet!

Would all depend on the scenario of what happened to the tire, I would say turn around time would be a day or two, possibly 3. But hey that's why you got a spare under your truck!

say it slipped a belt (mfg defect)

and no, i wouldn't commute on my spare for 3 days (nor do I think it would only take 3 days turnaround. Probably take 3 days just one way)....thats crazy when i can get it fixed immediately from a local shop.

Ok so you order tires from them and save $200-$300 right, take the damaged tire to a local shop to get patched, whats that gonna cost you $20-25..... And you still saved $175-275 on tires......

If they are defective, you can take them to a local Discount Tire and they warranty them through the manufacture. Usually it is a prorated warranty. If you want a full replacement warranty, you can buy certs for them. You can buy the certs after you've purchased your tires by either call DTD and buying them over the phone or you can also buy them in store if you take them to a local Discount tire to have them installed.

well, local shops like townfair price match, so your not really saving anything. Also, you still need to get an alignment (cause townfair sucks for alignments). Typically when you purchase tires locally, the alignment is included. Also, patching a tire is more like $10-$15, if you even have to pay since the local tire shop you purchased from might offer that for free since you spent so much money.

There isnt a local discount tire shop around here (over 100 miles away)....

Dude with 4 new tires you do not need a alignment. Only reason you need a alignment is if your truck pulls either direction or one of your tires is cupping or wearing unevenly.
