Hey guys, be aware of the mark up on the tires. When I went to purchase, they marked up the tires 25 a piece to break even. So, best bet is to order 2, then change ebay accts and order 2 more. Or do the second one as a guest. This way you actually save money on the tires.

 

In the past I've been able to do two orders with the same account. I think the code allows up to 3 typically.

 

Still, just as an fyi they mark up the price $25 a few days before the coupon goes live.

 

I really depends on the specific tires. I've had a set in my watch list for my mother in law anticipating the sale. They are the same price now that they were 3 weeks ago.

Second this. I went in with someone else last time. Each ordered 2 sets of 2 on our own for $200 off. Then had our matching spares ordered as singles (which crested $400...ouch) on one order for another $100 off split.

 

Just got 4 new michelin defender ltx ms for my tundra... 275/60/20 (true 33"), big step up from the 31.5" stock Bridgestone junk it cane with. $736 shipped. I did have to place 2 orders , under 2 eBay accounts in order to get the full $100 off each set of 2 tires. It wouldn't work with same eBay account and 2 orders. Was still best easy and a really really good deal for these tires, in that size.

 

yeh! buying 4 with $100 off doesn't end up a deal really. Wonder if in the long run I'm not better off going to regular discount tire as usual so any warranty work and such is easier to deal with.

 

I got some tires for the wife's highlander and they were more expensive with the coupon than they were priced on the DTD site.
Started a chat with a rep on the site and they weren't able to give me the full 100 on top of the cheaper price, but they did give the cheaper price plus another 50 off buying them thru the DTD.
There's deals to be had with the coupon depending on what tires you want, like wildpeaks for $380, but if there's something you're looking at, and you find a better deal even with the coupon, jut contact DTD and they will try to work with you

 

I got a Set of Wildpeak’s in a 32/11.50/15. They were the same price as the DTD website before the $100 off coupon. So mine were a true $100 off. $512 shipped
