    The gift card was with Tire Rack. I was trying to find a no tax deal but 5 for $1,700 wasn't too terrible. More than I wanted to spend but I needed a set. I'm dropping major coin on my series 80 land cruiser this month, getting it painted tomorrow with monstaliner for $1,500 including matching door jam paint. Got my sliders in a few weeks ago so I'll be painting them myself. And I splurged on some 17s a little while ago too. Money pit! LOL

    But it keeps the Taco looking nice...

    @Discount Tire looking for 285/70r17 Falken Wildpeak AR3W set of 4 at the Everett or Marysville location would be ideal. Possibly another set of 275/70r17 at the same time for my fiancé’s 4Runner if that would discount further, but the latter is unlikely lol.

    I hope so. This is how she's sitting right now, winch bumper off and everything else off that I could take off and still drive it. Thought I'd help the painter as much as possible... The hood is the color that the bedliner will be, wanted to make sure I liked the darker brown. I've got a Warn 8274 waiting to mount as well. Can't wait to get her back and everything bolted back up so I can hit the trails again.

    The LX's had all that plastic molding down the side so I took it all off and patched about 80 holes... Lexus is the pink panty addition of the 80s...lol

    Shoutout to @Discount Tire. I ordered 4 at the flash sale online yesterday, and the tires were at my doorstep today. That is some service!

    So my wife calls and said my tires were delivered, dropped off in front of her garage door and she needed to leave in a little while. Thinking they were my 5 huge tires I drive home to move them inside so they will not be sitting out and in her way (recent back surgery so I didn't want her trying to move them). As I turn in my driveway I see 4 small car tires and not 5 BFG KM3s...I immediately question myself on how I screwed this all up...lol Turns out its my address but wrong name on the shipping label. I take pics of everything to call Discount Tire when I get back to work and then head out of the neighborhood (I checked my tracking numbers and they still said out for delivery). As I got to the stop sign I see a FedEx guy pulling in so I flag him down, he's got my 5 tires on his truck so I turn around and help him unload them. I was glad mine came in and I was able to get them squirreled away in the garage. They were huge and the correct ones (turns out I am not an idiot...today).

    I get back to work and called Discount Tire, they are sending me return labels for the wrong set. I just hope whoever Andrew is isn't freaking out that his 4 tires are showing delivered but nowhere to be found...lol

    @Discount Tire y'all are killing me...lol
    So I offered to drop the wrong 4 tires off to FedEx that y'all sent me instead of FedEx coming by the house from my story above. Well apparently y'all still sent them to my house anyway because FedEx came and stole 3 packages off my porch and mailed them to you, one of which was my new benchmade knife. I've spent a week trying to replace the stuff that we assumed was stolen. Luckily y'all sent everything back to me today with a note... Now we have to return the Amazon stuff that they replaced and I've got to call Bladetech and tell them to stop the insurance claim...

    I had a door tag label on my door from FedEx last week and after stopping by and my wife being on the phone an hour with them they kept saying it was associated with another address and not ours. Ridiculous... No good deed goes unpunished...lol

    I am happy I at least got my stuff but geez, what a fiasco all because the wrong tires got sent to me and I tried to do the right thing and get them to the rightful owner...lol

    My saga continues... I was outside washing my truck this afternoon and the FedEx guy stopped by with 4 shipping labels wanting to pick up 4 packages to send to Discount Tire. He said that he's been given the shipping labels every day for at least a week and stops by every day looking for packages. He even said he thought it was weird but he's the one that grabbed my Amazon packages and my knife package. I called Discount Tire and told them to tell FedEx to stop coming... Wish I'd never have ordered tires from them at this point, I've wasted more time because of a screw up that shouldn't have involved me at all... What a headache...

    Got a call from Discount Tire today, I declined a coupon or anything else yesterday on my phone call with them. An offer was a nice touch but I wasn't looking for that, I just wanted the poor FedEx guy to stop coming around trying to take my packages...lol Today they apologized and convinced me to let them show me some love. Glad they wanted to make it right. Good customer service! I can say that all my conversations were pleasant so that's a plus, thanks for understanding and fixing it.
