    Now, I am totally confused about where Discount Tire/America's Tire are located. The Chatsworth Store manager of America's Tire told me the in California there were no Discount Tire they were called America's.

    Anyway - The California Stores were awesome when I was there 7 years ago. My experience with the sucking side of Discount Tire is the North side of San Antonio. I need to be specific where I had my poor experiences with them.

    I'm not a schwabby kinda guy... I used them several years ago & they're too expensive & try to rip you off on brakes constantly. Discount is awsome, they beat any (internet included) price out there for wheels & tires!

    The Chatsworth guy was partially right... Discount Tire Company is alive and well in southern California. It appears that in northern and central California they are America's Tire. I don't know why they use both names (Discount/America's) in California but they do... Try this link and you'll see that they do indeed use both names and where.
