Glad I found this thread. I'm waiting for my dealer to transport my Tacoma from another dealership and then I'm going to go down and sign the paperwork. When they ask about the warranty, I'm going to ask them to match this deal, and if they can't, I'll be contacting you at some point.

 

My hat goes off to Mike Boomhower for the quick response times and answers. I just purchased the 7/100,000 platinum $0 deductible warranty. Saved almost half of what dealer wanted.

I am anxiously waiting for the paperwork.

I think I have the 6/60,000 but I would like to upgrade to the 7/100,000. Currently I have 29,000 on my truck. What do I need to do to cancel out my current warranty and use the reimbursement for the 7/100,000?

 

I have an '09 4WD 6Speed Manual TRD OR that I would like to get the 7/100 platinum. Can I get in at the 945 price as well? I'm ready to buy.

Wow nice thread, at 889 I might even consider it lol... They wanted like 2900 or something at first, I laughed, then he cut it to 1500, said cut it in half and you got it, he laughed. Here it is, near what I would have bought it for... nice. onders:

 

I think you're over on Toyota Nation too. The 36K is coming up and I need to get the platinum warranty asap. Anyone get one recently? Bump for this thread.

 

I just got the platinum from Troy for $915 for the 5yr 125k. Figured with 35K on a year and a half year old truck the extended would get me through till it was paid off.

It almost seems like it would be unnecessary for a Toyota, but i am not in a position to pay for a catastrophic repair and car payments on an un-drivable truck should anything happen so it seemed like a good thing to do.

 

just want to update the thread and let everyone know the prices are still valid and you can finance the warranty if you don't want to shell out all of the money at once. Most of them fall in the range of $100-$120 up front and $45-$75 per month depeding on the term.

can all be done through email, mail, and phone.

Just got the paperwork from Mike (Handy Toyota) for my 7/100 platinum coverage! $110 down and $55.75/mo for 18mo.

Mike is great to deal with and answered all my questions with confidence. Highly recommend him if you are contemplating an extended warranty.

 

Dam...I have 42 k now. No warrenty for me.

REALLY good price on a real Toyota extended care no deductible guarantee.
My dealer extended the warranty by a year. otherwise I would have gone there

 

Just got my warranty from Jerry Johnson also. Super easy and very nice price.

 

Great thread, I used it to get my dealership in Maine to match the price. Well technically they went to 50 bucks over (700 for the 6 year 75k warranty), and I went in the next week after I got my Toyota card and the guy I made the agreement was out. I told his co-worker we agreed to 650 and he bit. Great day for me!

 

can i use rewards points from my Toyota Rewards Visa to pay for this?
