    Hello,
I am new to Tacoma World as a poster, but I have found myself staying up late reading many posts and getting educated - thank you to all of you that share!
I just purchased a third GEN new Tacoma and for now I plan on keeping it stock until I need to replace the tires with the exception of a GFC topper (on order). I live in idaho, I frequent off-road excursions for rafting, hunting, skiing, and camping access. Some of the roads are seasonally maintained. I don’t think I need rocksliders, but aesthetically I don’t like the look of the exposed section that a 25degree rock slider would cover up. Rocksliders are the only solution I can find to aesthetically cover up this section. Do any of you have thoughts or ideas to make this section more refined or see less where the body meets the frame? I don’t want or need running boards.
Cheers and I hope I explained it clear enough.
Note: I agree it is petty, but it bothers me that toyota didn’t make this section look cleaner.

Wow that was a fast response, Thank you.
I will see if Greenlane Offroad Aluminum Rocker Guards / SideStep has a 25 degree angle.
I like the lighter weight aluminum and anti rust option. I realize that the protection is minimal and may cause even more damage if an impact was to occur with aluminum.
    Any other ideas?

Plenty of options, like you said, a 25 degree slider will be tight to the body and cover up the pinch weld underneath, if that's what you're looking for. Googling "25 degree rock slider Tacoma" or similar should show you plenty of options, like this:

Alternatively, paint the pinch weld if you don't think you need sliders and are just worried about the aesthetics:

Pinch welds!!!! Thank you I did not know what this was called and having the correct description will allow me to search for alternate ideas on how to cover up the pinch welds besides spending $900-1500 on added weight for my purpose.
    Truly thank you

I ordered RCI metalworks 20 degree. People seem to like them that have them. Just have to wait 6-8 weeks.
