this is just my dislikes of the truck (08 d/c trd sport speedway blue auto)

    no rear disk breaks
    no washer low fluid light
    no power seat
    no heated mirrors
tilt wheel drops in your lap (should be sprung(spring) loaded to the up position)
gas pedal is to flat to the floor
steering wheel should be 2 inches smaller
cruse controls should be on the steering wheel
steering wheel tilt needs to drop lower in the lap
all controls need to be light up at night (4x4,ect,ect)
break pedal needs to be harder.

remember this is only my beefs ,im on your side if we say something
mabey toyota will act and change sum things ,and add others as
    opptions.

    looking for the new 2010
    kim.

    It's a truck, not a BMW.

Wow, I saw one thing in there that I might have actually cared about, the rear disc brakes.

The rest of the stuff you just complained about... well, I think you should have bought a BMW.

    Not yet,
An almost $30,000 truck should have a little more critter comforts i guess, but i just assumed I was paying for the reliability and capabilities and rolled with it. I understand where you are trying to go with this post I think (get toyo to add some more options which they should) but it does kinda come across as, hey, "i hate my truck" lol

I kinda agree just a tad.... but ya know what. I've been working on all those creature comforts. More lights are going in my rig, and so far its only cost me about 10 bucks and a few minutes time. I feel more accomplished by adding them instead of buying them for 100x the price.

    shoulda bought a 1st gen...screw that beemer crap :)

my windshield washer low fluid level light is on currently...my tilt wheel springs up...im not sure what you mean about the gas pedal being too flat to the floor...but i have PLENTY of room with my size 12 feet to just use my toe to accelerate...my cruise is on the steering column...i dont have to put hardly any pressure on my brake pedal to begin braking

MOST of my stuff on my dash lights up...but a couple buttons on the left dont...no biggie though because i know where they are and lights come on in the cluster when i engage stuff:D

I'll agree with the heated mirrors...

It's a TRUCK, get over it LOL

Maybe a Caddy SUV would have fit your needs, they are pretty "cheap" now-a-days

All those things you listed came on my Dodge. AND I got a BUNCH of extras at no charge. For example: Self destructing rear end, Intermitent fuel injector failures, Self cracking exhaust manifold, Auto down windows (when truck was Off, and locked), random warning beeps, ejecting rear view mirror, Audible body integrity monitor (rattels and creaks), powerfull Class leading V8 engine that dynoed 20 h.p. LESS than the Tacoma V6, Luke warm AC that felt as if it was being blown from a straw, BUT, Who needs AC when its only 120* out side........Should I go on???

Well....Its like this.....First truck was a Dodge. Had about 5 Dodge M37's, Dad tried out Fords, Chevys, and had no luck, so He bought a Dodge 1 ton. Never had an issue. I bought a Dodge 3/4 ton, and a Dakota. The 3/4 ton is STILL running GREAT! no shit. 195K on the ODO and no issues. The Dakota was trash from day 14 on.....

I thought about this ages ago, but if you guys want heated mirrors, why dont you just port some of the warm air from the defroster into the mirror housing? Doesn't even have to be that big of a hose, a little would do it.

There's actually another mod that allows you to put a snowmobile grip heater on the backside the window and feed it through the door to have heated mirrors.
