    Rejuvenating this thread. Heading out to Moab mid May and most places I checked are sold out or outrageously expensive. I looking for something that is first come first serve instead and the BLM campsites fit the bill - except there are so many options! Hoping you will share your favorite scenic BLM campsite locations otherwise I'll one of those guys who will drive in circles hoping next spot five miles up the road is better than last. Don't need much but pit toilet and maybe fire ring. Thanks for sharing!

    Ken's lake is primarily first come-first serve, just south of moab in spanish valley
