I have a 2021 TRD Pro Tacoma. When i am looking at the display, it will show the audio function on the left half of the screen and the nav on the right. If i touch the audio side, i get a full screen with all of its options visible. after less than 2 minutes or so, it reverts back to split screen. Is there something to click to make this change? my 2019 did not do this.

Yes. Look under the settings and display options.

 

i have. all i can find are splitting it in half or quarters. even had a service tech look at it

 

I forget under what option it is, maybe general or set up. but look for a Return to home screen, and uncheck the box.

 

I just had to do this a couple days ago. I had been playing with settings and selected 'Auto Switch to Home Screen' or something like that and then all of a sudden my screen started flipping back to dual mode as I was driving. Find that checkbox and uncheck it.
