    Definitely. I always wondered why truck manufacturers don’t offer these options. They obviously have reasons that are determined by profitability and trends, but it’s still annoying.

    I remember the Ford Ranger faithful waiting for a redesign for years, with technology from overseas Rangers that had been implemented for a very long time. Same thing happened. The 4 banger turbo with no diesel option. The Ranger is available with a V6 turbo in 2024 though.

    I thought it would have been a good option if Ford spec’d the new Ranger with the naturally aspirated V6 from the F150. No dice.
