I've been reviewing some post here, but haven't found exactly what I'm looking for. I want to put a pair of round or cube lights inside the grill. No light bar. I have a mounting bracket coming from Bay Area Fabrication for the lights to mount to. When I had my jeep, it had two Rigid D series spot lights mounted on the front bumper. I had them slightly angled and they did a good job of showing the side of the road. Since that time, lights have evolved a little more.

My use of the lights is driving in areas that have zero street lighting, 2 lane road, speed around 50 mph or so, lots of wildlife, etc.

So are driving lights a better choice than spots like I had before? I tried flood lights once and they just didn't show the side of the road well at all. I want to see what's on the side of the road before it steps out in front of me. The link below has some good information.

I'm trying to keep my price range around $250 or less. Any suggestions on particular lights would be helpful.

I have Diode Dynamics SS3 Sport ditch lights mounted on my hood. It does a good job lighting up the sides of the road. I also have a 32" lightbar behind my bumper too. I payed $204 for the lights + bracket and $15 for the switch.
