I picked up a set of Diode Dynamics SSC2s to use as ditch lights along with a set of Cali-raised low profile brackets. Will be wiring the lights to my Switch-pros.

Wondering what the best/cleanest way is to make the jump from the light pod to the engine compartment area. Have read a couple ways described in various threads here (but haven't found a clear pic of that area):
    - down behind the cowl (through the lower/outside corners of the windshield)
    - along the ditch bracket (then either follow hinge or let hang)

Would love to see some pictures of wire routing in this area!

After a little fiddling (with plenty of opening and closing the hood), I decided to zip tie the pods wire to the light bracket, then follow the hinge down:

Tried to leave enough slack in the wire for opening/closing the hood, then across the firewall:

    And over to the Switch-pros:

Will do the drivers side the same way.

You made the right choice using threaded cables. I should've gone that route because I nearly snapped one of my cables because it was kinked at an awkward angle

I went under the cowl with mine. I debated the options too haha.
