Anyone made a custom bracket or modified the existing ditch light brackets to fit on ditch lights without rubbing the snorkel? I've got Rago brackets and Vision x Optimus 3.7" lights. The light is a bit deep and rubs the snorkel when lifting the hood. If the hood is down there is no interference.

I'm thinking about fabricating a bracket to offset the light an inch or two to the right.

I have CBI mounts with KC flex and there is no interference.

I don’t know of any modified brackets to support this. Would be interested in what you make though.

Just laid some paint on it. Hoping to install tomorrow. I made it really quick so I may end up remaking one out of heavier gauge steel using the shop at work.

Maybe a piece of 1” wide by 1/8” thick steel about 2” long with a hole in each end. Bolt one end to the bracket and the light in the other moving it toward the center of the windshield just a little. Idk just a thought

That's essentially what I'm making except I'm adding a bent tab to go into the Rago mount so the new bracket doesn't swivel. Looks pretty crude right now since I didn't have a sheet metal bender nor a precise way to cut the metal.

As long as it works you can make something better later
