I like having ditch lights just not on the hood for me. Even tho they are not quite as bright due to size I really like my stealth mirror ditch lights. :notsure:

I thought the S2's are really bright?

Did you mod that snorkel intake?
The best one was what safari snorkels made for my old pathy, swept back over the roofline

That is one clean install! Who or how did you cut those out of the mirror backs? They look perfect like they where done on a water jet and re sprayed. I need to know! :spending:

Here's the original thread by robmpii.

Took a bit of detail work, won't lie. Rob got his to fit tight and look right with the use of body filler. I was not as confident in my abilities to work with that, so I scribed out my cuts, opened a rough cut, then worked carefully out from there with small Dremel on slow speed and hand files. Actually worked out good because once I was close I just relaxed with the Dremel and files and took it slow and careful until they fit just the way I wanted. Thanks to his work, I knew where the cut outs had to be, so other than time, patience, and a steady hand, it wasn't all that difficult.

Game wardens in these parts go bonkers if they see folks using these in the forest and they have a bow or firearm in the truck. They suspect you might be jacklighting game.

Therefore I pass. They would be nice to use though.

That’s 1 thing I really like about the Caliraised brackets, they’re low profile. Everyone else’s stick up pretty high.

Nothing wrong with cheap pod lights. If you’re happy with the light output, who cares. The issues you might have past that is eventually the clear plastic will yellow and they might leak.
