I was very tempted to go cheap on my pods, until my wife said “you paid 50k for that truck, don’t you dare put cheap lights on it”. Yes mam! :spending:

What’s the best configuration of Amber Baja Designs S2 Sports to purchase for ditch lights? I am thinking about driving/combo or wide cornering. Thinking about driving/combo because I would like to clock the ditch lights forward during snowy conditions. Any thoughts/pictures are appreciated!

If amber has the same effect as white light, Ditch lights+snow=light speed! Ditch lights tend to light up everything in front of you at eye level. Driving with ditch lights on in snow is almost impossible. Atleast for me anyway.

Driving combo - amber if you are driving in snow..
I wouldn't put wide cornering on the ditch mounts pointing forward - you'll want to minimize the amount of glare on your hood right in front of you.

The plan is to get amber driving combo lenses and swap them out with the wide cornering lens

I added amber rock covers to my squadrons. That way I can go back and forth. It’s also the only way to get spot in amber.

Anyone have any issues with condensation build up in their ditch lights?

Rigid D-Series Pro Flood. Very happy with them.

Never. Get good quality lights & you shouldn’t.

I think im gonna go with rigid too. After researching i like their warranty and their torture tests. They also go into a lot of depth with info and their little demonstrations on their site. Seems worth the money

I thought the same. Plus I figured if Toyota TRD trusts Rigid for their fog lights, that’s good enough for me.

Specific question on the BD Squadron Sports. What lense are you guys running? Mine currently has combo ambers in them, but I am wanting to go to a clear lense and am looking for suggestions.

I swap between Clear Combo, Amber Combo, and Clear Spot, plus amber rock covers..

Be careful tightening up the lens bolts, cracked lenses can let in water..

Does anyone happen to have experience running both the Rigid Side Shooters and the Baja Designs S1's as ditch lights? Thinking its time to upgrade and these both look like good options. My current knock offs dont have as wide a beam as I would like and kind of leave a dark hole between the front spotties and themselves. Looking for something that will fix that with a really wide angle output
