Let me ask you this. When you got the Rago brackets from CaliRaised who sent you to the CBI site?

As for the Rago brackets coming from China that is 100% false because I've been to their shop since they're in my neck of the woods. They make all their brackets in house and send them off to a powder coated for paint. As for CaliRaised I know they use a third party to make their brackets as of which country of origin I have no idea.

Not trying to bash you man in anyway but I want to get facts straight. For the pissing contest that's been quiet from both sides I think.

    That was an Instagram reference..

Order was with CaliRaised. Rago brackets were received. Sent to CBI for install instructions.

Guangdong, China comment was about the low cost LED products, not brackets.

An gotcha brother. Haven't been following both camps on Instagram.

For install instructions I didn't use any but as like you said I used the CBI instructions when I first installed my brackets from them.

I will say though if you call @ragofabrication up with questions they are happy to answer them. From what I hear CaliRaised is the same but have no idea myself. They might point you back to CBI like before

I'm sure they're both decent companies, not saying they aren't. Just amusing they both try to smear each other and say that one company ripped off the others mount designs. I'm sure that's true.. but one didn't take the design from the other.

Not sure if they were previously involved and now aren't, or what.. but both sell cheap LEDs for lower than average prices, I doubt either product is better than the other.

CaliRaised ships with the Rago brackets. I don't have any complaints, it was like $30 more to buy the lights with the mounts as opposed to paying full price for the lights and then full price for the mounts. Both of my LED products are from them and my next orders will be from them as well

This. The bracket and light install is easy. But even looking at that wiring harness gives me a headache. Wiring is a foreign language to me.

I have seen them at O'Reilly auto parts if you have one close by.

Question about ditch lights...how are you guys using them? Do they literally help light up the periphery area of the headlights? I ask because I drive through horrible deer country at night and I'd like to rig something like this up to my brights so when the brights are on I get a much wider view to the treelines on the sides of the road. Deer come blasting out of there and I don't see them until they're almost in front of me. If other cars were coming I could turn the brights off and ditch lights with one switch. I guess I'm maily wondering how bright a 3x3 cube is and would it add the width of my headlight beam?

Its good, but I'm having problems with the lights right now. But i got the 3x3 and they seem bright when i tested them. I would probably aim the lights to the side a little, so u have 180 field of light:)

Are they as bright as the high beams? More? Less? I hate seeing Lumen ratings because every co. is different and they all over estimate. And the wattage tells me nothing because they're LED and an 18w in one LED by co. A can be different than an 18w by co. B because they use different drivers.

True. Turns out the connection wasn't good. But it works now. I wouldnt say its bright as the high beams. If you wanted that, you should get the big one that goes across the windshield. Anyways, i have a pic of what mine looks like mounted, but i forgot to take a pic with them ON. I will take a pic tomorrow night.

Thanks. Really like the light and install was very simple.
