Pulling my 6" Fabtech off shortly. Got a fab shop making me a crossmember.

About to start ordering parts, and here's my list so far. Am I forgetting anything?

    OME nitros with leaf packs
    Gusseted spindles
LBJ to spindle mounting brackets & bolts (L&R)
Front diff mounting arms and bolts (L&R)
    Cam tab gussets

Should be it right? What else don't I realize the PO changed out to install this thing?

Also anyone have the LBJ to spindle brackets or front diff mounting arms laying around? PM me if so and I'll buy em off you

Whew, could be a bunch of fabed up parts for brackets and hangers, is the driveshaft lengthened? Good luck my brother.

Nah stock driveline. I'm sure there will be some little hangers and stuff here and there. I can address at most of those at Autozone as I find the need for them. Mostly looking for any major parts I need to order that would keep me from ripping the lift out in a weekend

Thanks, I've peeked through it a couple times, and that's lead me to my list so far

All parts are ordered, waiting for the to arrive. Most should be here next week. Gonna do one more "parts audit" and make sure I'm not missing anythng before I make the appt at the shop.

I'm pretty confident that I've got everything I need. I even ordered all new OEM nuts, bolts, and bushings for all the parts.

The shop I'm working with is pretty confident it'll go smoothly as long as I've got all the stock parts. I'm printing them out the FabTech install instructions so they have a reference for reversing it, and I'm providing them with example photos of what people have done in the past welding/fabbing wise to replace the cut crossmember. I'm trying to cover all bases so that they can get it done quick and easy

I'll report back once it's going into the shop and then I'll post some pics of the final product when it's all done! Might be a couple weeks though

I noticed tie rod ends and sway bar links in the parts list in the instructions. Did you include those in your parts list?

So the truck gets dropped off at the shop tomorrow or Friday afternoon. They said to bring it by whenever, so I'm just waiting on my ride home to confirm which day works better for him

Also ended up getting new hubs/wheel bearings and lower control arms. I figured if I'm paying labor to take em all off, I might as well put new ones back on

Shop just called and the truck is all done and ready to roll! Said everything went smoothly and they didn't have any issues with the crossmember or remounting the front diff. I'm gonna pick it up on Friday, and I'll throw up some pics and an update. Excite to be off the DB lift!

She's back! I'm definitely happy with the shop's work on the crossmember. Rear end looks a little lower than I'd like, but the entire 6" lift is in the bed (brackets, full leaf packs, coil overs, big ass spindles, etc - probably a couple hundred lbs of stuff). I'm gonna unload everything tomorrow and see how the rear sits before thinking about adding a leaf to the medium Dakars.

May play around a bit with the alignment too, as the camber looks a bit off on the driver's side to me, but I might just be seeing things. All in all, happy how it turned out! Rides much better than it did with the drop bracket lift

That’s awesome. If you don’t mind can you send me a message on the price. That’s if you don’t mind. I’m looking to get rid of my 6” fabtech and go back down maybe 2” lift. Thank you
