Old spice jar, cotton pad, and $6 essential oil of your choosing. Works better than expected. Covers the wet dog smell very well.

Make sure the wooden block don't go past the edge of the metal clip that slips on your sun visor. They don't make the clip just barely wide enough for the wooden block. If that block touches your cloth on the sun visor it will leave a stain.

I'm might be the minority voice in this, but I absolutely love the Bamboo scent that Febreze has for vehicles. I gave it a try on a whim about a year ago, and that's been my "go to." Sadly, it's been a bit hard to find at Walmart (at least my local one) here lately. I'm guessing the Rona has played a part in that.

Dude thats genius. I found out you could hide an air filter freshener next to your cabin air filter which works pretty well!

After 2 months, the wax did nothing! My little trees work way better.

Here is a simpler "air freshener" idea/trick I learned several years ago. Get a bar of Irish Spring soap (or some other scented soap of your choice), open the box, and stick it under the seat or behind your seat. The heat of the day will release the smell. And when the smell gets faint after a couple months, simply take a knife and carve some outer layer off the soap and return the remainder of the bar back in its box and put it back in its place. I can easily get 3-4 years out of a $1.00 bar of Irish Spring.

    Hope this idea helps someone.

Chemical Guys 'Morning Wood' is a nice sandalwood and cedar scented spray.
As for the candle wax idea, Sand and Fog candles are real good and I found one that had leather and tobacco with cedar but I can't remember the name -- it's all used up and gone.
