Finally settled on an idea that will work with my Roll-n-Lock bed cover. I trial and errored my way through some Qcad then to Sheetcam and out to the plasma table. I have a video and prelim images of set up. Cross bars are going to be 1" sq tubing (14g). The rails (10g) will mount to some 15 series 80/20 aluminum profile (3" x .75") that is attached to the bed rail through the Roll-n-Lock. There is a bit of a gap that 1/4" rod will pass through. A little tap and thread in multiple spots on the profile and hardware to lock it into the rail and shazam.

The rack overall will be 43" long which when you account for the roll up area of the cover and the remaining length leaves about 6" to the end of the bed. This is from a lesson recently learn when my key broke of in the cover lock and the core had to be pull by a lock smith.

My work has a bit of a hobby shop with some nice tools. So I got to play with the plasma cutter. I will post a more pictures as I go along, but I expect to be 90% by the end of Friday.

Don't judge my welds to harshly please, still learning.:)
