Takes a good bit of prep work, if you have more spare time than money, it's a good choice.

I use rust oleum roll on because i throw a lot things in the bed of my truck always getting dents and scrathes and so then i just use my rust oleum spray on liner on the dents and scratches to keep it looking good.

Used Herculiner on mine. Comes out decent with plenty of prep. Not nearly as durable as a professional bedliner like line x....however it is cheap and easy to touch up. Overall have had it for about 8 years.

Roll on whatever you use if going diy - you'll get way more material thickness. Line X is some tough stuff - my first gen came with it when I bought it - way more durable than the rusto spray bed liner I use for a lot of projects. It has a quality that absorbs impact and allows things to slide better than the rusto spray liner.
