In your template how many of the holes are actually bolt holes I recently bought a set of sliders the kid made plates to bolt them on but I don't wanna drill that many holes was looking to drill the ones that show on his plates to save me a little bit of frame drilling

I was trying to buy some Slee sliders but Slee never answered their phone or return my calls. Email replies took about 2 days till Christo stopped replying all together.

Previously designed my own and had somebody make em last time but liked 1BC's design much more.

1BC sent me the files and I printed them out 1 to 1 on a large plotter at work. Heres pics of them mocked up on my 2014 DCSB. Fits perfect. Thanks again 1BC!

The whole idea of this project was to NOT drill my frame. So, the frame plate file uses all factory holes in the frame. :) You could choose two spots to drill if you see fit (on the bottom of the frame...one between the front and middle mount and one at the very rear end of the frame plate. I haven't decided what I'm doing about the rearmost edge of the frame plate...stay tuned because I think I'm going to get everything sorted this weekend...

The Slee sliders are the ones I'd buy if I had to. I like the design very much. I'm glad the files are working out well for everyone! I haven't gotten any feedback yet of them not fitting an AC or DCSB truck. :D

The problem is these sliders have plates the bottom I can get to the holes like in the template but I can use most of the ones in the sides. I just want to drill as few holes as possible but couldn't pass the deal up ImageUploadedByTapatalk1392092878.197662.jpg

I just got a bunch of requests for frame plate files, which is awesome! I just wanted to let you all know that I'll get those requests out ASAP...which, right now, may mean tomorrow. Thanks!

I posted a link to this thread in the Hawaii section. Lots of DIYers here since shipping these types of things are so expensive. I can't wait to get mine :)

Awesome! Thanks for cross posting this. I really appreciate your 'help'. :D

Also, anyone waiting for frame plate files should have their email now (sent them 2 minutes ago)...which means I'm up to date on responding to PM's. If any of you haven't received your file email, send me a PM. Thanks!

Yeah, winter time isn't the most productive or fun time to build sliders. The truck is always wet and dirty underneath...where you'll spend a lot of time. Spring and summer would be glorious! Of course, if you suck it up and build in the winter then you'll be ready to go out and enjoy the nice weather.

My buddy at Precision Machinery and Tooling cut them out on the waterjet for me today, and is sending them out for bending. His brake isn't strong enough for 3/16 steel.

    LOL :D
The hardest part will be waiting for my sliders to arrive. Luckily for me, I work in a shipyard, so I have lots of friends that are pretty badass welders and are happy to come to my house, drink all my beer and help me with my truck.

Well, after 4 blown deadlines in a week and a half, I finally picked up my sliders from the shop doing the tube bending/welding. They look just how I wanted which is great but the shop missed a small but potentially critical detail. They didn't notch the rear of the slider to inset the tubing so now the slider is approximately 7/8" longer than I wanted. Normally not a big deal, but that's right where the bed body line drops down toward the front of the rear wheel opening. I hope it's not a problem...but I shortened it from my original plan because it was closer than I liked. We'll see this weekend when I test fit 'em! I'll post up some pics tonight (crappy, dark pics) or tomorrow (slightly better pics). Despite the potential issue, it's cool to see all of the pieces in place!

Well, I finally picked up my sliders from the fab shop! 3 weeks, 4 blown deadlines, and a total do-over later, I'm happy. :)

Top view on the left and bottom view on the right. I really dig the tubing portion. I'm glad I designed it that way. :D

I put a small notch in the top of the inside of the leading edge of the slider. It's there to give a little more clearance to the body. The body starts flaring out/down right before the front fender flare.

I have some edge finishing, re-welding of a few areas, and skid plate mounts left to do but this was a hugely motivating day. It was good to see them in their final 'form'. These will get a black wrinkle powder coat. Yes, I know it will scratch...and so I will touch the bare metal up with rattle can. I just want the powder coat to protect all the areas that are hidden. Anyway, I'm getting there...

I think so! Now I just need a clear weekend to finish them up. Maybe next weekend...this weekend is shot.
