I don't remember. I recommend calling the manufacturer.

A small section of line should be no problem. I used the same procedure when I replaced the brake lines and a short section of hardline pictured below.

This is why I hate TacomaWorld....now i need to spend more money to get these :D.

Seriously though, I came across this thread in the nick of time. I need to do this! I'm also about to install extended SS lines, so I'll just plan to do both at the same time.

I did not see any for the 16+ Tacomas listed. My guess is they would use the same thread pattern as the previous gen Tacomas?

When I placed my order from Speedbleeder.com she asked me make an model and sent out the same part #s as what is listed here. Give them a call and let them know what make/model you have and they will make sure you get the correct ones.

Sweet, will do. These will make adding longer brake lines a snap

Not sure what the diff is between using the speed bleeders versus a piece of vacuum hose with the end submersed in a bottle of fluid.

Hope someone wades in here, because this is what I've always done. Why buy speed bleeders?

Speed bleeders don't require a second person. Attach your bleeder hose, open the bleeder valve, step on the brake pedal. The Speed bleeder does not allow air to enter when you let off of the pedal.

Having the drain tube submerged in brake fluid prevents air from getting in too.

exactly, this is the way I have done it. Just use a short piece of vacuum hose that fits tight.

Personally, I prefer the Power Bleeder.

I have used the tube in a bottle, a vacuum pump, and the power bleeder methods. I just installed SpeedBleeders, and think using these are the easiest way to bleed brakes - only one person required.

    My $0.02

Neither does a hose submerged in fluid.

This is something I've wanted to get. I screwed up the master cylinder on a car once by pumping the brake pedal all the way to the floor. That was outside its normal range of travel and the seals got torn up on the gunk at the end. Had to replace the master cylinder within a month after the brake fluid flush. Now, I put a block of wood under the pedal to keep that from happening again.

Exactly! It's what this thread is about. I put the SB's on and think its a no brainer if your going to keep your truck for many years. Now the next time I have to flush the fluid it's a 15 min job by myself start to finish. No loosening and tightening b/w pumps, or in the case of the Off Road trucks just push and hold for 8-10 seconds tighten then move to the next one.
