As long as you wash them out with water very well and throw it in the washing machine within a couple hours of using them you're good.

I use TW ceramic spray too. They have a new Graphene spray too. Tests out well too. Just make sure your paint is in good shape and then use it every 6 months and it works great. I have been using its predecessor Seal and Shine for a while and it holds up to Illinois winters, is really easy to apply and costs very little. Takes about 30 minutes to wipe on and off every 6 months. I spend the rest of my money and time on living:)

No money, all went to truck...
There are 2 types: temporary coatings or permanent coatings. Lots of temp products out there, pretty OK as long as you know they will last short term (few months).

As mentioned already, cquartz UK and gtechniq csl/EXo are 2 solid products. I think quartz may have stopped production. I've used gtechniq, most of the work is in the prep. The coating is actually pretty quick. If taken care of, the coating can last 2 years.

Important to do it properly, it's a permanent coating so if you mess up, you have to polish it off and redo.

second on G-Techniq. Have done my truck a few times as well as the ladies ride and it holds up great and makes washing a breeze. Water runs off very well (I use gas leaf blower to dry and it takes maybe 3 minutes). I do mine every 2 years, and do the same as above. Wash, clay bar, wipe down with 50/50 mix of IPA and distilled water then apply the coating. 80% of the time is prep, the coating is a breeze to put on.

Grab it when they have their thanksgiving sale, usually 30-40% off. Last - I tried car pro last year and was really disappointed so going back to G this winter.

I have a buddy that was raving about NuFinish after doing a bunch of research and using it. I wonder if it’s the same product he was talking about.

I've used Avalon King and will 100% use again. I applied it the beginning of this year and did one coat on my truck. It came out great so I showed it to my father and he bought it and did two coats on his Audi. The prepping of the truck and application will take a full days work, but the results are amazing. I had some left over so I even did my Harley. It has held up great but I'm going to do a two coat application rather than one. The truck stays cleaner a lot longer and has a very deep shine. It repels water well but nothing magical for the price it's well worth it.

Did my wheels last weekend. I'm going to wait till spring to do Gtechniq Halo on my PPF and Carpro SiC on the rest. Higher end ceramic coatings are def. not for noobs. Something like Avalon King would be ok for beginners. Prep is key.

Well being an old fart with medical issues the professional way seemed the way to go. I was really active till 60, and didn't mind getting out one and awhile to clean and wax the vehicles. I figured i was due. In a way i kind of wished i did it sooner.
