Haven't seen a thread going over this cheap DIY option for 3rd Gen Pro Grille Garnishes, so thought I'd share.

I've had an aftermarket Pro Grille on my 2020 OR for 2 years now. It's not OEM but I found it on Marketplace for 50$. There was no Grille Garnish that came with it to protect my TSS sensor, so I had to either purchase a separate Garnish or attempt a DIY solution.

This "Garnish" did not cause any recalibration issues with the truck, the only time I have ever had issues with the TSS sensor is when I've been driving in a monsoon or a blizzard. I've had this happen maybe 3 times in the 2 years I have been using my Garnish and it always resets after a few minutes. The TSS sensor has prevented a few accidents for me since the install of the Grille.

    - Clear Polycarbonate Lexan Sheet/Plexiglass 1/4 inch thick
    - Cut to size of Garnish rectangle that will fit into the Garnish slot
    - Taped a square of painters tape onto the Garnish to keep the TSS sensor unobstructed by paint
    - Painted the plexiglass with a matte black finish (I found this was the best matching for the Grille)
    - Removed the tape once the paint dried to reveal a clear square for the TSS radar to penetrate through
    - Drilled two holes into the top corners of the Garnish to line up with the existing screw holes in the Grille Garnish slot
    - Attached the Garnish using the two screws and two nuts

It isn't the prettiest, but it protects my sensor and sure is cheaper than OEM Garnishes.

Thought maybe this could help those who want to try a cheaper option than the expensive OEM or dicey aftermarket Garnishes.
