DIY Locking bed storage trunk

I like this tweak. I'm gonna go this route, I think.

 

run those eye bolts through a piece of flat bar or angle on the inside to add more strength to it.just my thought

 

I just figured if someone is interested in stealing it, they are probably quickly walking up, grabbing it and trying to get out of there and deal with the pad locked hinge after the fact. My hope is that after the initial pull and realizing they are going to have to work for it (and probably make a lot of noise) they think better.

 

well in that case hook a few cow bells onto it lol

 

Bolt cutters and it's gone in 10 seconds. No work at all.

 

Bolt cutters and pretty much any locking mod for the Actuon Packer is gone.
