Just ordered a prinsu rack for my double cab tacoma. I am wanting to mount my rotopax 2 gallon and maxtraxx on top, but I don't want to drop another 200 on the prinsu load panels. I am planning on getting the maxtraxx pins and rotopax locking mount to keep everything secure. Wondering what diy mounts you guys have done for the prinsu?

I just really like the look of them up on the roof

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
Think of functionality though, when you need to use them or when they’re filled up, you gonna want to lift the cans over your head or have the rattle on the mounts on the rack? What if the cap leaks and gas starts to drip all over.

I mean, you’ll get IG overlander points for sure.

but, if that’s the route you want, all the power to you. Here’s a thread with a lot of DIY stuff.

@t.hornstra the main reason I’m putting them up there is for functionality, I am building a bed platform system to store all the camping gear I need as I’m planning to live out of my truck for a year and travel. I am trying to preserve every ounce of space on the inside so anything that can withstand the elements is going on the roof. Thanks for the link!

I’m sure you can figure something out pretty cheap. Prinsu is super versatile with there system. I have my tracks stored in my drawer systems, but I know I could figure something out. Created all the mounts for my awning and thule box from scratch.
