Well it was a success... at first.

I followed the steps you took exactly and before I started buttoning everything up I tested it and it worked great! Locked and unlocked half a dozen times and every time I unlocked all 4 doors would unlock with one push. So disconnected the batter once more and buttoned everything up. I hooked up the battery and now when I try it, only the back doors lock and unlock. When i hit lock, the back doors cycle twice and when i go to unlock, I have to hit unlock twice. My 2 front doors font do anything. I reprogrammed my fob and nothing. Any thoughts? If I cant figure it out with the wiring diagrams I'll jsu put it back how it was. It's strange it worked great half a dozen times and then nothing...

Ok I think I figured it out. Im assuming the OP has a single cab. If not, this theory is out the window. When I went to the # 2 connector there were 2 blue wires with the black stripe. The op DID point this out but said one of the wires was a larger gauge. My two wires are the same gauge, I thought about it for a second and figured somewhere down the line they changed gauges of that wire at the factory. So I used his wiring diagram to pick the right one. When I was testing the mod, I never checked if it was unlocking the rear doors. I saw that it was unlocking the passenger door and figured they were all unlocking. The rear doors were not unlocking with one click. So 1 of those blue/black wires are for the front passenger door and the other is for the rear 2.

When I retested after putting everything back together, I had a loose connection in the system which was disabling the 2 front doors. The 2 rear doors were still wired up to the #2 connector thus needing the dreaded double click to unlock.

Well I haven't tied that other blue/black wire from the #2 connect into the system yet. Im checking wiring diagrams to make sure it is the right one. I am only assuming it is. But yes, the front passenger door is unlocking with one click. Now I just need to figure out why the rear doors aren't

I'm no genius when it come to these wiring diagrams but it appears the passenger door and rear doors all feed from that same blue/black wire... so now I'm stumped

Will do Brooky. I'm really curious if the op has a single cab...

I looked over the schematics and here’s what I figured out.

The blue/black wire in “Connector 1” in the OP goes to LF door. In “connector 2” in the OP, there is 1 blue/black wire to the RF door and another to the RR door.
The blue/black wire for the LR comes out of a connector on the side with the fuses. According to the schematic, the RF,RR, and LR are all tied together inside the plastic. So, in theory, if you tied into 1 of the 3, it should feed the other 2.

That's what I'm looking at as well. Like I said, I'm not master at these diagrams but it appears to me that the rear doors and passenger door are fed by the same blue/black wire. Am I correct?

    No.

3 individual wires all tied together in that grey section. 1H is “connector 2” in the OP. If you look close, it’ 1H pin 4 and 1H pin 5.

Found it. Now I just need to tap them together.

    Wouldn't i need to make a 4:1. All tied into A pin3?

This shows them all tied together internally. That's all I've got.

Ok soldered up a 4:1 Y and connected to the op #1 connector. It works! All 4 doors unlock with 1 touch. Wish I would have done my homework and seen that the op had a single cab. But hey, I learned from it. Muddinfun mentioned tying into 1 of the 3 other doors and they should all work. I didn't do this because you would have to send power out the driver door terminal back through the block and I didn't know if that was a good idea or not. So, I just have power running out through the driver door terminal to the other 3 doors. A bit more work than I was hoping for but it was fun.
