Alright time to make a cab rack because this doesn’t line up with my prinsu and the mismatch on powder coat is bugging my OCD.

Can’t right now, too dark. It’s not @BeachBoy fault, I used the Prinsu mounting feet and have it adjusted as far over as I can and it’s still off from the cab rack, also about ~1/8” off on height. I may have to trim the Prinsu mounting feet to get it to shift over because my Cabrac is dead center and I don’t wanna move that around.

I like @BeachBoy powder coat better anyways and it may be better to just buy his cab rack and sell the Prinsu when that time comes.

Hard to tell but first picture shows the height difference and second shows it’s off side to side. Again this is just because of where my tracks are mounted and also the mounts I used to install it. I never expected it to just perfectly line up with the Prinsu.

    Everything TW members recommend
Or raise the BeachBoy rack up by 1/8” using spacers at the crossbar to railmount interface.

That’s the plan for the height difference.

    Yes,

IMO 48 or 49 would be better.

Arent most RTT 47-48 in across closed? So wouldn't it make sense to have an extra inch or two on the sides of the RTT?

I think at least 48 makes most sense, but prinsu has 47 and I have not read complaints for RTT mounting.

With my kit you can order 47, 48, 49 the price difference is pennies per crossbar.

True I havent heard compliants. I personally like a little extra finger room if I use the rack as a handle to climb up on the tire or the sliders. I mounted all my stuff on my prinsu with a 2 -3 in gap on sides for this exact reason.

So the issue with the height difference is because on the prinsu there is about a 1/4” lip above the crossbar, on @BeachBoy its maybe 1/16” or so. I didn’t measure but it’s a very small lip, and if it matched the prinsu then it would line up. As far as the lining up when looking straight on, that’s because of the difference in the thickness of the side plates.
