On your canopy, where did you get that mounting bracket. The one that your rack mounts to? Nice canopy rack BTW. Its the silver bracket on top of the canopy.

Do you happen to know how long you made the side pieces?

Currently have just the OEM roof rack. Really want to do this for my shell do you think it will create much wind noise since I don’t have the cab rack in front of it?

That looks great. Thanks for the write up.
Have a question for you. What kind of weight do you think you can put up there? Do you notice any flexing due to weight or while ratchet strapping things down?

    Thanks

any rack will make noise. just depends on how good your ears are lol
i have my RTT on it, and no flexing at all. I did add a internal bracing to the shell as i like to go fast off road and having the RTT up there doesnt help

    Great idea.

I’ve been trying to think of a mounting foot solution for awhile now. The square tubing with angle cuts on both ends is perfect!!!!

Also, check out the Proline aluminum tracks. Recommended to me by @Blackout14

    Just installed them yesterday.

Well this turned out great, thanks @paranoid56 !! I ended up using 1.25" square tube for the feet since the I have the Thule tracks on my shell.

Aluminum. Everything is Aluminum except the hardware, that's SS.
