Hi, sorry for the delay. I had a crazy week last week, I could probably write a book about the ordeal... Basically had to find and rent place and move in a few days (and my kids/wife). My computer is still not connected as I have no desk (!!), using my old surface 2 for autocad is not great and I can't run Catia on the thing.

I now have the plates, the cab design is almost done and I think you'll like how it's designed and versatile.

The mounts we have two versions and now need to fab up some and get someone to test (my truck is still in Newfoundland)

Oh and I possibly have a great partner so that will help to get those out and create new things.

I'm interested in a cab/shell rack for a dclb. Have you gotten close to a final price? I would really like to use the Rhino Rack rails for my cab if that won't be a problem. I'll get the shell rack first, but want a cab rack that will eventually match the shell(as in, be level across both racks).

Yes it should fit in rails no problem. Ideally everyone would have rails as it fixes the issue of the OEM holes not being all at the same position, but those rails are expensive so we found a different solution.

I have set up an order page (no billing just to track configurations, shipping addresses, etc.)

If anyone has not received it by PM, send me a PM.

After this batch, next one will be when cab racks and mounts will be fabricated and should be much better suited for fulfillment.

I have followed your lead with the counter sink and the 1.25" tubing. However, I am having some issues... I can NOT get a tool into the tubing to tighten down the bolts to the cross member. I have tried 11mm closed box ratcheting wrench and there is no room. How did you do it?

Any one else have any ideas?

Also, what size hole did you drill in the counter sink to allow for the square part of the bolt to fit but not turn? Thus, allowing you to tighten it down to the tracks.

I am leaving for a trip in 2 days and would like to get this finished.

Update: once i angled the 1.25" tube for the feet, i was able to snug everything up. I also used 5/16 bit for the holes. I had to grind down some of the bolt because Home Depot only has 1.25x1 carriage bolt. Thus, i didn't have enough room to get the box wrench in the tube to tighten the bolts.

Also, not all 1/4" carriage bolts fit thw t-bar so be sure to check the fit when buying.

These are just a few of the nuances that i learned from this venture. I hope it helps prevent some of the headaches for others people wanting to make this rack.

I will post pics in the morning.

Oh and the mount can be installed at 90 degrees meaning you can use it to do a bedrack with risers.
The inner part can be switched "out" and then you can use any riser length you need (t slot 2*1), so you can raise your cab rack 6 inches if you have a taller shell. You can also raise it 18 inches with bracing to make a bed rack... And reuse the same mounts at 90 degrees attached to the bed rails.

And you can use the mounts on any other truck as it's not brand/model specific.

I attached the "feet" to the crossmembers first, then attached the feet to the shell rails. I will say i do recall it being not alot of fun.
