Yes, $44 for 7 bars. I never pay for shipping when I buy stuff so I'm out of the loop on shipping prices I guess.

So did the cabrac side plates just die @BeachBoy and @Barnburner ? Pm'd @BeachBoy in August and October and haven't heard anything. Website looks nice, but it wont do much good if there is no product.

FYI to others; scrap yards are a good spot to look for Alu. I picked up an aluminum wheel chair ramp that is 3'x6'x5/16" for $54, probably will be able to get three pairs of side plates out it if I can get a CAD from beachboy or barnburner. If not I plan to work on a template once my garage is finished. Talked to a buddy this weekend and he said he could cut it for me as soon as I have a CAD or template.

Create your own CAD and start selling. There's money to be made here with just these side plates - just make sure to respond to people.

Sorry for going MIA guys. Between work/family/life and coordinating across multiple countries, we've been tied up jugging a bunch of details. But things haven't completely died - I have 9 sets of LB Cap plates and 19 SB Cap plates plus hardware at my house here in MD ready to ship out. Beachboy just sent me a list of people who have PM'd him over the past few months, and once I follow up with those folks, I'll post up the details for ordering the remaining inventory I have.

@TomTomBikes you make a great point. Maybe my buddy that has the CnC machine can help me develop the CAD and if people like the design...sling a few to pay for our troubles and get a free rack out of it.

@Barnburner Thank you for the response:)! Glad to hear the Cap plates are still being made. Any progress on the plates for the Cab?

Nothing on that front just yet - progress slowed on our mounts, which will (pending things go as planned) allow for the use of our plates for the cap or cab. We're still working on prototypes to dial things in.

@mwnewel mine came probably two weeks after placing the order. That was back in August tho so with the holidays and what not it may be different now.

I just got mine in yesterday. It was slightly delayed b/c the black 47" bars (at the time, not sure if still) were on back order and took them a week to restock. Took about two weeks from NY to CA

Got the roofline traced last night, had quit as it was raining to hard haha.

I wanted to look back at what the dimensions of the CabRac side plates were so I could be close but maybe add a little height for light cutouts. I remember seeing on the forums a pic of someone holding a tape measure next to the site plates to show how far they set off the roof line, the hight of the side plate, and where the cross bar was in relation to all that. There was three pictures with the front, middle, and rear. For the life of me I cannot find the thread that had those pictures. Anyone know where those were or mind snapping a couple for me:)?

    Thanks!

    Hey guys,

I bought a new truck and have duplicates or no longer a need for some gear. Below is a list of items that are up for sale. One of those items being my snugtop camper shell and DIY Prinsu cabrac. This is made from full aluminium components and stainless steel hardware. Ideally, I would like to sell the shell and rack together but am willing to separate. However, the mounting track have to stay with the shell. The snugtop shell has the sportsman package which means it is double walled with honeycomb on the roof so it is very strong. It also has the key fob entry for the rear door, sliding windows on the side, and a fold down window on the front with sliding center. If you have any questions, please send me a message and I am happy to send you pictures or more information.

    Location: Nashville, TN
    Rack Price: $300 obo
    Shell Price: $850 obo
    Package Price: $1,050 obo
Shipping: pick-up preferred but am willing to meet and help install if buyer is close
