Has anybody made a wind deflector for this rack? Pics?
I notice a ton more wind noise with the rack mounted.

We are working on it and have two different solutions. Fully adjustable of course and can be retrofitted.

I'll post some pics tonight or maybe @Barnburner has some

Here's mine. Just some 1/4" aluminum cut and shaped with holes drilled in it and some 80/20 extrusions. Recently had them powder coated.

You wouldn't happen to have a few more photos on how you mounted your rack onto the cab?

Thanks I was interested in how you attached it to the cab but seeing the Rhino Track it makes sense.

I didn’t really add it up. Total cost was much less than buying a finished product from someone.

It was fun to make, but if I were to do it over again, I’d probably just buy the racks from someone with a finished product due to the time invested.

It did force me to buy a few tools that I’d been wanting. So there’s that cost, but the rack is a one time deal and the tools I can use over and over.

    (2) 4” x 60” x 1/4” 6061 flat bar (cab sides)
    -cut to 58”
    (1) 6” x 48” x 1/4” 6061 flat bar (faring)
    -cut to 47”
    (2) 2” x 60” x 1/4” 6061 flat bar (cap sides)
    -cut to 47”
    (15) 1” x 2” x 47” crossbars
    (1) 1” x 1” x 48” 6061 tube (cap feet)
    -cut according to needs
    (1) 1.5” x 1.5” x 48” 6061 tube (cab feet)
    (~80) M6 x 1.0 stainless screws
    -countersink or not, your choice
    (3) Yakima Y8810074 (8-pack)
    -feet to roof rails
    (30) M6 x 1.0 stainless steel T-nuts
    -crossbars to feet
    (24) M6 x 1.0 x 15mm VW sunroof bolts
    -feet to roof rails
    -Don’t remember p/n, here’s a pic:
    image.jpg
    (24) M6 x 1.0 stainless hex bolts
    -feet to crossbars, various lengths
    -12mm, 15mm, 25mm

    Powder coating was $150

1/4 radius bars are each 1/4 of a full circle. By putting 2 together they form a half circle and decrease the noise significantly. The ones I used are here: https://www.tnutz.com/product/ex-1012-black/

This is what they look like on my rack
