Recently put some in my truck. Used the bolt lights from oznium. I think they came out good. All these lights are looking good in this thread.

I managed mine with no separation. If you have patience and the right tools it can be done. Just careful pre drilling and boring of the hole with a dremel. Then use a solid flat washer on the top side so when the nut is tightened the light pulls itself tight and self levels to the washer.
pic attached with zero details of what I just described.

Thanks! I did the always on parking lights mod, so my inner ambers are on when the engine in running. I also tested with an ohm/Volt meter and green is correct.

    Yes.
Any one just connected to the battery? I don't get why that is not an option to have them on at all times.... I'm a wiring dumb-ass though so some one enlighten me. :help:

You could tap into a circuit that is on whenever the ignition is on, that way they will still turn off when the truck is off but will be on anytime the truck is running regardless of whether the parking, headlights or DTRL are on.

    Yes.
    That makes sense. Thanks.

This is what I'm looking for. I want them on at all times, but have DTRLs so the parking lights are only on at night. I think adding the wire to my ignition circuit is my best option! Thanks!

Um, it's a Raptor grill by HomerTaco, and then I did a little DIY and use a dremel to cut out holes and install my own flush Amber LED lights that are bolt LEDS. Essentially a bolt with a nut on the backside that tightens down, but the end of the bolt is the LED. So they're completely flush and invisible. I ordered them from.... let me look. Oznium I think. Then I wired them into the middle daylight orange lamps.

    https://www.oznium.com/led-bolt

more info is a few page back when I did it last year.

Perfect, thanks.... You remember the diameter of the LED's you used? They range from 6mm to 16mm..

    Yeah.. 11mm.

    4 x Flush Mount LED Bolt - Amber, Aluminum (1W), 11 mm, No Lens, Black = $23.96

That's what I bought. Got an extra just in case. ;-)
