DIY Reroute Kit - How do you like it?

    Bringing back an old idea from this thread, I have been looking at producing a DIY reroute kit. Some of this is motivated by the fact that most exhaust shops want big money or that its hard to know that the shop will use the best materials and welding process (this goes a long way in the rust belt). To be DIY and have the material benefits for corrosion it ideally needs to be welding free (tricky at the cat side). I would like to hear others opinions on what you would want in a DIY kit?

    The only thing that I am really firm on at this point are that it routes behind the transfer case and not under like some. I think the benefits of getting the heat out from between the skid and transfer outweigh the minor cons if it being back there (more stress on the factory hanger location at most).

    Loose requirements/ideas so far:
    1. Material:2.25" 407 or 304 or Whatever is at least as good as stock.
    2. Bends: mandrel or welded mandrel bends. Preferably one bent piece but may ned to be a V1->V2 situation depending on numbers.
    3. Rear connection: lap joint with band clamp. - Can cut back further for keeping to 90's and far from actuator
    4. Front connection behind cat: Lap joint with U clamp. - I know its short (would live a stock exhaust to experiment with) but I have an edea to make a pipe shape to work reliably. Would consider also making this connection as a bolt on ball and socket flange.
    5. Pipe heat shield for actuator: Yes - probably not a big enough cost to not have that piece of mind
