    Kind of looks like a puppy prison if you ask me. Is the pass through for a muzzle up next if they keep up the vandalism? ;)

    I actually like it. Gives the cap a more secure look and feel and I'm sure it will serve it's intended purpose.

    My dog loves to have his head out of the window.. I am looking for a way to do this, but make it easy to take down and put up. If I go somewhere and need to leave him in the back, he will be contained, but he can still have his head out while riding...

    Resurrecting this thread. I'm having difficulty finding expanded sheet metal as described by the OP. Or at least in the right size. I've been to Home Depot and 4 other hardware stores. Any suggestions? I'd very much like to create a screen protector like the one depicted in this thread. Thanks!

    Metal supply shop is where I went yesterday and ended up getting the expanded metal at scrap price. You need two pieces 25"x12" and trim to fit
