Hi I'm looking to install the Toytec boss coilover kit (3" lift") on my 2011 dbl cab LB 4x4 anyone have any advice on what tools I NEED or any extra parts to go with the kit? And if you have it on your taco how do you like it?
Pictures would be great along with your tire size
Ps. I do mostly highway driving with moderate offroading
    Thanks in advance!!!

Rims and tires , exhaust , stereo , Bhlm ,Changed carpet to black from grey. toytec ultimate lift kit. Allpro front bumper and light bar. In process of blacking out interior. Otrattw switches, black vinyl armrest mod, clazzio leather seat covers with heaters, flowmaster dual exhaust, hornblasters train horns,
I have the Toytec ultimate kit on mine. The ride is so much better over stock. No special tools needed. The front was easy, the back not so much. Had a hard time getting the truck up high enough. A good set of jack stands and I had to put them on blocks to get the frame up high enough to let the sag out of the springs once you disconnect the shocks. Might of been easier to take the springs off the truck to do this. Just watch that you don't overextend the brake line from the frame to the diff.

I have an ICON set up but here is the tools I needed for the install should be mostly the same. It took a long day to complete but it was all pretty straight forward.

    12, 14, 17, 19mm wrenches
    10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21mm sockets
    3/8 and 1/2 drivers
Torque wrench up to 100 ft/lbs
    Large flat tip screwdriver
    Ball peen hammer
    Rubber mallet
2 med to large size C clamps
    Jack + 2 jack stands
Bungee cord for holding the spindle out of the way and not stress the brake lines.
    Thread locker medium strength (blue)

    Pics after you install:D

Is getting new UCA'S necessary? Or can I keep the stock ones on?

Less than 2.5" you can "get away" without them although alignment can potentially be difficult. Some have remained with their stock UCA's without any problems. That being said I would definitely recommend them.

You might want to get a pitman puller for the ball joints. Also, consider rear axle shims, much easier to put them in while you have the rear suspension apart. You may also need a carrier bearing drop. If you go with Icons, make sure to get their special $40 wrench to adjust the front shocks.
