I can do weeknights too. I’m on perpetual overtime but I’m still usually home around 5:30. I’ll let you know when I have the diffs out ready to go.

I'm a week behind, this weekend should work (28-30th) if you can get the diffs out by then. I have all the needed tools but you should grab all the seals (4) and maybe a tube of Toyota FIPG (pn 00295-01281) for the clam. Are you going solid spacers?

Excellent, I’ll yank everything out during the week. The front and rear install kits came with pinion seals, should I use OEM ones instead? I already have rear axle shaft seals. I’ll pick up the front diff axle shaft seals and a tube of FIPG.

I got a front solid spacer along with the install kit and the rear diff already has one. I assume it can be reused?

The oem ones are cheap enough, Nitro has been swapping in India made seals, I'd check what you got. The solid spacer can be used again.
Ninja edit: Get new pinion nuts too.

When is all this going down? I wouldn’t mind seeing how it’s done?

Alright, I verified that both install kits have new pinion nuts. I ordered OEM front & rear pinion seals plus left & right front axle shaft seals. @H3llRid3r, I'll be ready Friday afternoon after work, it'll be up to @Jiveydude when we get started.

I’m hoping to do some rust prevention next weekend but if you do it let me know. I would love to see how it’s done. Assuming you don’t mind if I lurk?

Friday night works for me, start around 4, should be able to knock them out before dark. Ryan, I'll PM you my address if you want to stop by and learn the Jedi ways (or at least have a beer with us :D).

I should be able to leave work at 3:30 on Friday and be there at 4, but there’s a chance I’ll be stuck there until 5.

I snagged the last pair of BAMF 1st gen LCA skid plates. They're going to look a little odd next to the stock tinfoil skids, but the time was right to install them. BudBuilt front and mid skid plates are on the way.

We're still working on them. The rear just needs a little backlash fine-tuning. The front got confusing because the stock open diff has needle bearings for the axle shafts and the Harrop E-locker does not. We stopped at that point. I've since learned that the CV axles just interference-fit into the Harrop and we were overthinking things.

    Damn!

I believe my ARB locker came with a bearing to replace the Toyota faulty needle bearing (when lifting). Maybe we aren’t talking the same thing?

    Plans to finish it up?

Dr. Strangelove or: How I learned to stop worrying and fit a 33" tire in the stock spare location. Just bend the rearmost tabs out. Then it fits without being any closer to a hot tailpipe than the old spare.
