Thanks to @Jiveydude, Sky's Off Road Design spring hanger reinforcements and Stubbs Welding rock sliders are permanent.

    Much stronger than stock:

I'm so chuffed with the fitment of these rock sliders:

I went to Boulder Mountain for a family gathering. But I found us a trail that’s really fun if you don’t mind a little pinstriping.

I have been envying this truck for a long time, I always liked how clean it is and I loved the white rims.

Thanks for the kind words, @Phessor. I'm not afraid to get it dirty but I do enjoy cleaning it up when I return to civilization. I liked the white wheels a lot but when I painted them I didn't think to clear coat them so they didn't stay looking good for long. Sometime I'll redo them but for now I have to muster up the energy to install my new e-locker rear diff, extended rear brake line, brake shoes and inner axle seals.

I had grandiose plans to change the brake shoes and inner axle seals while I had my rear axle apart to install a new Harrop E-locker. But the 15 year old 111,000 mile brake shoes were only a few thousandths thinner than new. The inner axle seals had no visible wear and were just as soft as the new ones I had on hand. Completely pointless to change those parts. This @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc extended brake line is excellent. The female end swivels AND you can put a wrench on it, unlike the stock part, so it's easy to install without getting twisted.

Harrop E-locker is in! I'll keep the pink, black and chrome color scheme for a while, it reminds me of a 1959 DeSoto.

Do it! I want to see more threads about regular cabs and less, much less about transmission TSBs or leveling kits.

I finally had a free afternoon to install the wiring and this Harrop e-locker is alive!
    Elocker.jpg

The wiring was quite simple; one wire to unswitched power, one wire to switched power, one wire to ground, an on/off switch and a relay. The locker engagement is silent and instant. I'm really glad I held out for this instead of putting in a TrueTrac or a used Toyota e-locker axle with a zillion miles on it. By the way, the customer service at @ECGS is excellent.

What influenced you to choose the harrop over an arb air locker or the trd axle?

It does look like a really solid piece of gear!
