DMH Exhaust cutout

    Thanks man! I believe the switch only has 2 wire (red and black, the red containing a fuse) the switch has a 3rd wire but all it does is connect to the cutout. How do I wire it to the cigarette lighter or 2 the battery with only 2 wires to wire from?

    You refer to 2 things as the switch, I'm not sure what you're referring to.

    You'd have to either find the cigarette lighter fuse or tap the power to the cigarette lighter behind the dash for your trigger wire. If you use the fuse, use an Add-a-circuit to draw power to trigger your relay. If you go directly to the wire, splice the wire, solder and heat shrink the connection to power the relay trigger.

    If something only has 2 wires, one is hot (the one with the fuse), the other is a ground.
