Do 2nd or 3rd Gen Floor Mats fit in a 1st Gen Tacoma(2003)?

as title states just wondering if 2nd or 3rd gen Tacoma floor mats fit in a 2003 Tacoma, couldn't find anything in a search but if anyone has done this or have pictures please respond, thanks

 

Floor pan was changed for the 2nd and 3rd gen tacomas, so they won't fit correctly.

There are several places that do custom fit mats/liners like weathertech.com and huskyliners.com They are pricy though.

JC Whitney also has several options for custom fit mats for the 1st gen. I actually ordered some thru them a few weeks ago for my 2002 Prerunner. I got the LLoyd Northridge all weather mats. Custom cut/fit. And the price was right...plus free shipping.

 

I know they won't fit correctly but I feel like width wise they're the same but the 2nd gens shorter front to back which wouldn't be a big deal to me

I just didn't like the shortness of the driver side one myself. That's why I went the other route with a custom order for year specific.
