    The way he landed on that front driver side tire makes me think he at least bent the wheel or something, but it looks like it kept rolling pretty well.

    I can't imagine how nerve racking the practice sessions must have been, especially the first one.

    That was cool but I kind of was thinking the same thing. But... That never stops the dumb asses from standing on the sidelines of a rally race so fuckem if they're that stupid.

    We had a fatal here in CA a few years ago. Huge investigation over crowd control, whether the spectators were beyond the ropes, whether ropes were set up and adequate....

    I don't recall the outcome of the investigation.

    Shit happens and everyone knows it. Shit happens on an F1 or NASCAR track when a car or debris goes through or over the fence. Being a spectator is not without risk.

    Watching an off road event from trackside on the outside of a turn?
    Natural Selection.
