    Hmm.

    Interesting logic.

To assume that "time progresses" assumes a beginning point. If time had a beginning, one ought to ask, "What was before time? or "How could time have began by chance?" or more importantly, "If time has a beginning, then is it possible there is a master designer (i.e. I.D. ~Intelligent Designer?)".

Funny, the finite trying to comprehend the infinite.

Our logic can only take us but so far. For some, that logic ends with evolution, for others, some type of creation. Ironically, both theories utilize the same facts, but interpret them in two wholly separate ways. One way leads us to independence and devoid of any securities, while the other typically leads us, dare I say 'back to', dependence and a sense of security. However, either requires faith.

We can speculate what 'heaven' might be like. about as much as we can speculate upon our past. Just as history is written by the winner, so to is evolutionary thought. As such, our interpretation will always fall short of what is. This is where faith comes into play. Faith typically takes what we understand to be true and forms a bridge to what we hope for.

Our logic of creation, as well as evolution ends at the proverbial Big Bang theory. From that point on, we can only speculate.

Evolutionists have a real problem explaining what might have been before the big bang. For example: Where did the laws of thermal dynamics come from? Where did matter, time, space, or anything conceivable for that matter, come from? How could ANYTHING come from nothing i.e. ex-nihilo? When faced with these questions, it just seems more plausible for there to be an intelligent designer.

It has been said that statistically speaking, the chances of evolution occurring purely by chance is as likely as a hurricane blowing through a scrap yard and forming a fully air-worthy 747 jumbo jet. I don't think you'll find many people having any faith believing that; would you?

Could aliens exist? Sure. Do I believe that aliens exist? Yes, but, I also think they have something to do with the 'power of the air' (Eph 2.2).

    Peace.
